TRUE MERCY


“It is so important that mercy and truth operate together otherwise it can easily become unsanctified mercy which locks people into the lies they have believed and sentences them to a continued life of sins, defeat, and entitlement. Mercy is love, understanding, and pardon for sin and rebellion. Repentance must follow mercy or it will only serve to establish sinful ways that will ultimately lead to death and separation from My presence. Mercy opens a door of hope. I am that door, and to come into Me there must be an acknowledgement of sin and a leaving behind of sinful deeds and thoughts. Mercy opens the door but faith and repentance bring you through that doorway. Mercy gently exposes the lies they have heard and agreed with. Mercy must meet with grace which is the power to choose life and righteousness. Mercy that enables sin and lies is not from Me and comes from a heart that seeks to please man and to be seen as a generous, loving one. My mercy will always lead to truth and life change. Mercy from a man-pleasing spirit will bring forth false security and will need to be continually propped up by man. True mercy connects the person to Me and to My unlimited resources for them to find true freedom and rest in the beauty of righteousness.”
