    There’s a difference between the modern state of Israel and the Nation of Israel in the OT. Jesus came and united Jew and gentile with his death.

    War and death are sad realities in a sinful world and Jesus made it clear that our Love for one another is what separates us from the world

    This forum had a lot of discussion about all Christians uniting, and somehow political social media figures are dividing the church. Now we have this example of Christian name shaming of people who publicly profess to be Christian. The use of name calling, Alt Right? Anti Semitic? Calling out certain media personalities, veiled or out right criticism. I see no Christian unity in this piece, we should put aside theologic differences within the Church and unite we were told, but if you don't support the government of Israel as an American Christian, we will call you out, because that is a bridge too far.

      Anon 6:47PM Of course you have your own mind to make up. During times of war, people are killed - and not necessarily your enemy or intended ones. That is what happens in war. But if you think God didn't know what would happen millennia before it happened, then He is not known. God tells us to pray for Jerusalem and that He will not turn His back on the Covenant He has with the nation of Israel. As for me I will OBEY His instruction and pray for them; support them. We are told to even pray for our enemy. I also pray for Russia and China, Iran and Pakistan. Because in each nation there are people who are suffering AND people who need salvation. God Bless Israel and God bless her enemies.
