TOUCHING MY FACE


"I am the God of CREATION and the God of UNLIMITED POWER. The light of My presence, My unveiled glory, SHINES BRIGHTER than your sun. One touch of My fingertip can make the whole earth SHAKE. And yet I long to be NEAR you and to have you TOUCH MY FACE, to drink deeply of My presence and My love, and to be completely SATISFIED and at REST in Me. This is why I choose to veil My glory so that you can draw VERY NEAR to Me and drink of My presence. This place is where ROCK-SOLID FAITH is formed and where all other COMPETITORS for My love shrivel and die and where FEAR of the future and FEAR of failure disappear in My EMPOWERING PRESENCE. Fruitful lives are born from this place of INTIMACY. I am bending down-will you draw near and TOUCH MY FACE?"

    Who can compare with the light of Your Presence?
    You shine brighter than the sun.
    Who can compare with Your Power?
    No one can touch the earth with their fingertip
    and make it shake.
    And yet You long to be near me?
    and to have me touch Your Face?
    O LOVE of my soul, I long for Your Empowering Presence
    to touch Your FACE
    to drink deeply of Your Presence and Your LOVE.
    to be formed in rock-solid faith.
    to be completely satisfied.

    I boldly come to this place of intimacy with You.
    Cleanse me, O God, that I may not soil the Splendor of Your Face.
    Do not bend down to me, but help me reach up to You
    in my frailness of Your Presence.
    Then breathe new life in me
    that my days may be fruitful, reborn in Your Spirit.
    empowered by Your Presence.
    and at rest in the veil of Your Glory.
