Strengthened by Mercy


“Power and great leadership are strengthened by mercy.  Some would see mercy as weakening to leadership but I say it brings heart and compassion to a great and effective leader.   A powerful leader who is able to show mercy and compassion will prevent them from becoming a dictator or autocrat because it keeps their heart soft towards Me and towards their fellow man.  It keeps pride from entering their heart and balances their responsibilities to set firm boundaries against evil.  Mercy is a very needed quality in a great leader’s heart, and I have placed mercy in the heart of your President so that he will truly be My instrument to bring reform and justice without getting stuck in harshness.  I am all right with strong words against evil as long as it is balanced by a heart of mercy.  Don’t fret at your President’s strong words.  They are meant to stand up to evil and to set a firm boundary against it.  I have also set mercy into heart to be a beautiful and stabilizing force, so be at peace and watch Me work in him!”
